Chris McDaniel is the Worship Pastor at Liberty Baptist Church and is working to develop and lead a new Celebrate Recovery Ministry. Chris was formerly with the award winning multi-platinum selling country group Confederate Railroad. He spent 16 years with the group until 2000, where he found himself in the middle of a $70,000 a year cocaine addiction. He went into rehab, admitted he had a problem and was in need of a Higher power. He got out of rehab, and found himself at Bayside Baptist Church in Harrison TN where he heard a message on Jer. 29:11-13. Convicted by the word of God, he totally surrendered to Christ. After serving as pianist at a local church for two years, Chris stepped out to share his testimony and music Jan. 19th 2003 in Atlanta GA. After that date he knew his life would never be the same.
Chris was called out to share the testimony of God’s grace and love to a lost and dying world. His music reaches all generations and he is being used all over the country. He has worked with three prison ministries, Nascar, and the National Barrel Racing Association, and is a speaker and worship leader for Celebrate Recovery. He has shared the pulpit with many of today’s greatest preachers and evangelists such as Junior Hill, Ted Traylor, Bill Stafford, David Jeremiah, Herb Revis, and many others.
